Hello everyone, well I haven’t posted in a while and it feels strange! This post means a lot to me; I said in a previous post that I was working on a secret project, and it feels like now is the right time to tell you all. Yep, as the title suggests, I have a YouTube channel; well it’s not entirely mine, I share it with my sister and it is called ‘Sibling Junction’. We are having such a great time creating videos every week for the entertainment of the YouTube community and I hope you guys will help us out and subscribe to our channel, because we love getting support from wherever it comes from.
I’ve wanted my own YouTube channel for a long long time now, but it was always a gaming channel that I had set my eyes on. Ever since I saw KSI playing FIFA with his brother I was hooked on gamers, but not long after that I found Jenna Marbles, who kick started my love for Vloggers, and from that moment on I started finding more and more Vloggers who have such a bright outlook on life that it started to change mine, then on, that’s what my channel was going to be.
I’ll be honest from the moment we told people that we had a YouTube channel we were met with comments going along this kind of line: “I just don’t get it”, “Find another distraction”, “It’s silly, I don’t understand why you would want to waste your time”. But to me, these comments mean nothing, when you post a video to YouTube, you’re not posting for anyone else but you, and the possible following of subscribers that the videos may bring, people who want to watch your videos; if someone doesn’t like the idea of YouTubing then their hostility toward it shouldn’t matter to you. The first time we got a positive comment on one of our videos, the feeling was amazing, and that’s what I love about it. People who don’t understand YouTube and the epic platform that it has become will always say that it is silly, because it’s the only argument they can make; and they don’t want to understand because they like the idea of putting people down; I don’t know, maybe it gives them some sense of power. I couldn’t care less, and neither can my sister (Laura), we may only have 25 subscribers at the moment but I think it will grow, the YouTube community is full of like minded and fresh thinking people and they’re the people who matter.
I believe that the WordPress community can help us out, I believe that we can show people that the online community; that you amazing people with all your creativity and all your love can help us build our channel, because I truly think it can become something more. I feel that the New Youtubers of YouTube do such a great job of helping each other out and in building their channels, so let’s see if you lot of bloggers can give them a run for their money and go and subscribe!
