Social Networking

Now I love social networking as much as the next person, but when they all try and out-do each other it becomes a little tedious!.

Let me start with the ‘New’ Twitter set-up. The people who control the way Twitter looks sat down one day and said to each other, “We have to find a way of annoying our demographic more than ever” and someone said “Oh, I know what e can do; we can put the Favourite, Retweet and Reply buttons at the bottom of every tweet so that they all accidentally press Favourite and retweet for everything”. There’s another things they’ve done as well! They also sat back at the board-room table and said, “We also need to make sure that there is no mystery in the picture links anymore, if we put the picture up with the tweet they’ll get all annoyed and start moaning. They love the novelty of clicking a picture link and being surprised at what they see, so obviously we need to end this anarchic behaviour!”

Now we come to the big boy, and if i’m honest the rather out-dated and old, no-one-really-likes-you-anymore-because-all-they-see-is-ads-these-days-from-pages-they-viewed-3-years-ago boy! Facebook. Facebook has now realised that there are many many many other options for people who want to social…network, there’s Twitter; the obvious replacement for Facebook; then there is Instagram, much better for pictures but lacks in talking, and stuff, but now also does videos because they want to keep up with Vine who do videos better! but on six second loops, whereas Instagrams new fifteen second non-loop videos are slightly slower but for obvious reason they are better because they’re longer. then you have an array of apps for iPhones and other smartphones, Snapchat, Whatsapp, BBM, BBM iPhone (not quite sure about that one) and i’m sure there’s probably one thing that does everything! Oh yeah, you can connect the three major options; Twitter, Vine and Instagram together to create and super social networking site which blows Facebook out of the water. Oh and don’t forget Tumblr, and Keek, which you can also connect to Twitter.

Actually come to think of it, Facebook, give up!

About A Message In A Blog

Hi, I'm Danny. Welcome to A Message In A Blog. The name of my blog simply is a play on the phrase 'A Message In A Bottle', but you know, this is a blog so... see what I did there? I always found the idea of a message in a bottle fascinating and thought it was an apt name (I hope this blog proves worthy!). I'm trying to find my niche (truly, I am) but for now my posts are focusing on positivity, happiness and living your life how YOU want to live it. Simple. I very much welcome comments on my posts, love them in fact, so feel free to do that. And if you find yourself reading this, please do click that follow button and you'll never miss a post. Clever, eh!
